The School of Public Policy's Tuesday Policy Forum will host Helaine Klasky, Director of Global Public Affairs, General Electric Corporation. A recent development in the American corporate world is the spreading creation of in-house public policy analysis capabilities at leading American business corporations. Klasky is directing such an effort at General Electric. She will discuss the extent of this trend and the factors that are motivating businesses to expand their own abilities to undertake public policy analyses of the kind that are traditionally taught at schools of public policy.
