Free Tax Day February 22 and March 1

Got W-2s? Free tax preparation is available. The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation help to low-to-moderate income people. If your family earns less than $51,000 per year, you can receive FREE tax help and get your 2012 federal and state refunds quickly through "e-filing."

University of Maryland Extension hosts the free income tax preparation day in partnership with Community Action Agency Montgomery County, the IRS, and Maryland CASH on February 22 and March 1.
