not receive credit for IB courses and for equivalent UMCP courses or transfer

Decisions about applicability of courses to CORE are updated on an
ongoing basis. Consult Schedule of Classes for most recent information. Native
speakers may not earn IB credit for any language exams.
Students
who receive an International Baccalaureate Diploma or Certificate may consider
presenting a portfolio to the Freshman Writing Office for review. See the Department of English web site or call the
