A basic understanding of project management is becoming increasingly important for engineers. Such knowledge enables them to contribute immediately to employers, and to advance their careers. In addition to a strong engineering background, there is significant need for engineers to understand the fundamentals of managing projects in order to effectively participate as members of project teams. Students who successfully complete minor requirements will receive a notation on their official transcript. A total of 15 credits are required. All courses for the minor must be passed with a grade of "C-" or better.
